Long ago, the Kingdoms of Jenggala and Kediri planned to reunite through the marriage of Prince Kusumayuda and Dewi Galuh Candra Kirana. However, a great war separated them. The princess disappeared in the middle of the forest, and the prince was determined to find her.
In his travels, the prince disguised himself as a village youth named Ande Ande Lumut and lived with a kind-hearted widow named Mbok Randa Dadapan. The journey to Ande Ande Lumut’s house was blocked by a very wide river. There, Yuyu Kangkang appeared, a giant crab who offered a service to ferry them across the river. However, he asked for a kiss from every girl he helped as payment. Driven by their ambition, Klenting Merah, Hijau, and Biru agreed to the condition. However, Klenting Kuning firmly refused. She used her magical powers to drive Yuyu Kangkang away and crossed the river without sacrificing her honor.
